In-Ho Jung is a professor of Materials Science and Engineering at Seoul National University, adjunct professor of Mining and Materials Engineering at McGill University, co-developer of FactSage, and an academic member of FIRE (International Federation for Research and Education in Refractories). He has received multiple awards, including the 2012 NSERC Leo Derikx Synergy Award in Canada and the 2013 Helmholtz-Gesellschaft Magnesium Research Award in Germany. He was also the recipient of the 2022 AIST John F. Elliott Lectureship Award.
